The Adidas Nitrocharge 2.0 are a midfielders dream come true. These cleats were designed to help box to box midfielders charge up and down the field. These cleats are unique in the sense that they have a feather weight synthetic leather-upper layer with elastic energy-sling in the forefoot. This not only supports your feet but it also is suppose to return momentum back into your into your feet, every step you take.

            Save Energy?

Now don’t think of it as the cleats are doing the running for you, instead think of it as they’re making running easier. This can save you a lot of energy in a 90 minute game. The Nitrocharge 2.0 also come with pre-moulded protection pads in the heel and toe. This certianly speaks the more industrial/physical type of players. We know how important this is if you’re making tackles.

            A glance at structure

There is also a strong layer of mesh in the rear-foot area for more added protection. The studs on the boot feature Adidas’s traxion 2.0 Fg stud layout. The configuration was designed for all out speed on firm ground pitches. As for your first touch the synthetic leather upper on these boots are specifically made to take care of that.

            Overall

I personally use these cleats as I play in a defensive midfielder role.  What I liked most was how comfortable my first touch felt on firm ground grass pitches. It was super easy to control the ball and when every I made one-touch passes I always felt like my passes and touches we’re going to be accurate. My only problem was that I bought the cleat a half-size too small! So when i went into challenges I’d sometimes stub my toe and man that hurts a lot. Overall, I found them to be superior to my previous pair of boots, the Nike mercurial’s.
